Overview

About the Project

The Smart Fertilizer Agri-EconoBot is a low-cost, semi-automated robot designed to assist farmers by evenly distributing fertilizer along crop rows. It aims to reduce labor dependency, cut down on fertilizer waste, and solve the challenges of uneven manual application.

The robot uses sensors and wheels to navigate rows while a synchronized motorized dispenser releases precise amounts of fertilizer. It operates on a rechargeable battery paired with a solar panel for energy efficiency and can be managed remotely via a mobile app

What It Does

Row-Guided Navigation

The robot uses simple sensors and wheels to accurately navigate and stay on track between crop rows.

It features a motorized, mechanically synchronized dispensing mechanism that releases a precise, even amount of fertilizer linked directly to the robot's movement

Energy-Efficient Power System

The system operates on a rechargeable battery that can be optionally topped up using an integrated solar panel for environmentally friendly and sustainable operation

A mobile application is being developed to allow farmers to conveniently manage remote control operations and monitor the system in real-time
